Escape to Witch Mountain Storyline

Tia (Kim Richards) and Tony (Ike Eisenmann) are two orphaned youngsters with extraordinary powers. Lucas Deranian (Donald Pleasence) poses as their uncle in order to get the kids into the clutches of Deranian's megalomaniacal boss, evil millionaire Aristotle Bolt (Ray Milland), who wants to exploit them. Jason (Eddie Albert), a cynical widower, helps Tia and Tony "escape to witch mountain," while at the same time Tia and Tony help Jason escape the pain of the loss of his wife.

Escape to Witch Mountain goofs

CONT: At the start of the dancing puppets scene, Tia tells Tony to try using his powers without using his harmonica and Tony responds that he can't. However at the start of the movie, he used his powers to manipulate a baseball mitt and a baseball bat without his harmonica.
FAKE: As Aristotle Bolt flies alongside the airborne RV, he looks at Tony and Tia from the left side window of the helicopter. Later, when he realizes he's flying upside-down alongside them, he is watching from the same position. If the chopper was flying upside-down, Bolt would be on the other side, and unable to see the RV.
CONT: When they are running away from the dogs, Tia and Tony switch positions between shots ('Kim Richards (I)' (qv) was afraid of the dogs, and at one point ran in front to get away from them).
CREW: When Tony is using the harmonica to make the crayon draw on the mirror, in the mirror's reflection the wire connected to the end of the crayon is visible.
CREW: Wires are obvious in two scenes; on the hovering handgun at the campground, and on the floating harmonica in the jail.
