Halloween Storyline

After being committed for 15 years, Michael Myers, now a 21-year-old man and still very dangerous, escapes from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 6 year old) and immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.

Halloween goofs

FAKE: When the ten-year-old Michael Myers goes to get the knife from the drawer to kill his sister, as he removes it the knife bends slightly, revealing that it to be a fake.
CONT: When Laurie is trapped in the Myers' house her hair goes from curly to straight in each shot.
CONT: SPOILER: When Michael first dons the gray mask before killing his sister he strokes the mask with a fresh blood stained hand, yet there is no blood on the mask.
FAKE: During the winter visit to the jail by Dr Loomis; you can see a deciduous tree in the upper left that has leaves that are as green as they are in the summer, yet there is six inches of snow on the ground.
CONT: When Laurie is walking to school and stops at the Myes' house she has no backpack, but in the following scene she is carrying one.
