Nancy Drew Storyline

This movie is about Nancy Drew going to Los Angeles California with her father, who was going there on business. While she was there she happened upon a mystery that involved a murdered movie actress, and her daughter. Nancy found out her her daughter was, when nobody even knew that the actress had any kids, and the actress's daughter inherited all of the actress's money. At the end of the movie, once they got back home, Ned and Nancy kissed for what I think was their first actual kiss, and right after their quick kiss Nancy's father told her that she had a call from some people in Germany, who were talking about the Loch Ness Monster.

Many of the threats in the movie are similar to the threats in some of the original books. Nancy Drew goofs

CHAR: Nancy Drew says the Miranda Warning started in 1963. It was actually the result of a ruling in June 1966.
FAIR: During the gym scene when Corky is choking, it appears that Nancy gives him CPR right away instead of the Heimlich maneuver. This is after Nancy states how she took a first-aid course, where she would have been taught that CPR should never be given to a patient until they lose consciousness. In actuality, she first performs a variation of the Heimlich used when the victim is laying on his back. Note that her thrusts are from the front, under the ribcage not from the side on the ribcage.
FACT: During the chase scene between Nancy Drew's Nash convertible "roadster" and the bad guys' Range Rover (starting at 1:20:20 on DVD), the Range Rover bumps the Nash three times. Nancy Drew's head snaps forward when physics would dictate that her head would first snap backwards (i.e. whiplash).
FAKE: When Nancy is printing out the details of all the possible matches on the 3 adopted children; although the names in the left column of the pages are different, the list of addresses in the right column is the same on each sheet.
CONT: When Nancy was chloroformed in Chinatown, the thugs stopped their SUV in the exact spot where Nancy's car had been parked. When Nancy escaped from the theater her car was back in that same spot.
